Q: When attempted to submit my homework assignment in the assignment lesson, I received an error so I am not sure if my document was uploaded. Did my assignment upload and submit correctly?


A: While we are aware of the potential error code with the assignment submission software, a recent update added in a FEATURE that allows the student to view the submitted document for that assignment. If you are unsure how to check this, a walk-through is provided below.



STEP 1. Submit your assignment.


  • Click the Submit Solution button in the assignment box.



  • On the submission page, click the Upload Document button to select a document from your device. Then, add a short note to your instructor in the text box. There must be some type of text in this box for the submission to properly process! After that, click the Submit Your Solution button at the bottom.



  • Stay on the page until it refreshes and displays a note saying Solution Submitted. If you do not see this after waiting up to a few minutes (network connections vary), then go back to the assignment lesson and start over. 
  • You may notice a Wordpress Error code on the page, and while we are working on why this is showing, it is not affecting the document uploading software that we can tell or reproduce consistently.
  • If you see the Solution Submitted notification and the links at the bottom to return to the lesson, click the link to return to the assignment lesson and proceed to STEP 2.




STEP 2. Verify document was submitted successfully.


  • Once you have returned to the assignment lesson page for the assignment you just submitted, look under the Submission box for a button that says "1 Solutions", and then click that. If you do not see this button when checking, go back and repeat STEP 1.



  • This next page will show your document by filename as a clickable download button. If you do not see this, your document was not successfully submitted, and you must try again by repeating STEP 1.




If you have repeated STEP 1 more than 3 times and still nothing for STEP 2, please email your assignment directly to your instructor at the email address provided in the COURSE CONTACTS lesson in the ORIENTATION chapter of your course.
