In today's world, there are many different companies and types of CPR and AED training and certifications out there. On a daily basis we are asked if we accept varying types of training/certification cards.
For entry into our clinical sites, we can only accept one company, one type of certification. The only accepted and approved CPR/AED certification is from the American Heart Association, and is the Healthcare Professional BLS certification.
While many of our students already have this certification when they register and enroll, it is not a requirement to enroll and start. The only catch is each student must have their AHA HP BLS certification submitted to us before they will be cleared to schedule their final exam.
