Prior to 2021, many of our lesson presentations were offered in Flash format. Through 2020, we worked dilligently to recreate, and republish as many of these lessons into HTML5 as we could. Before the end of 2020, we successfully converted 99% of these lessons into HTML5.
There are still a small number of Flash lessons still in our courses. When I say small, I mean maybe 1 or 2 per course.
Students may experience issues loading the Flash Player based presentations now that Adobe has discontinued Flash, as well as most of the popular web browsers.
If you find a lesson that is still in Flash and it will not play on your device, try downloading a different web browser and see if that lesson will load there. One browser we have tested works with Flash is Puffin Web Browser.
This app used to be free, but now because of the need for a browser that plays Flash, they have started charging. They do, however, have a 30 day free trial. So I would recommend locating the Flash lesson in your course first, then download and install Puffin.
