EMT & PARAMEDIC PROGRAMS OVERVIEW

All of our EMS school programs are self-paced, but all do have time limits. The maximum allowed time in each program are as follows:

Students begin with the online coursework, and once completed (all lessons and homework assignments) each student will take a live proctored Final Exam online at your home or office. After passing the Final Exam comes the hands-on Skills Session(s), then lastly the Clinical Internship.

NREMT Testing:

After successfully completing one of our certification programs, the student will be eligible to sit for the written NREMT certification exam (at a Pearson Vue testing center).

Paramedic:

Once you complete the Paramedic 1 coursework, you have the option of moving straight into the Paramedic 2 course and postponing the Skills Sessions and Clinical Internship until you have successfully completed the Paramedic 2 Final Exam, or complete these sections of Paramedic 1 if your wanting to get your AEMT certification first. Typically each student spends the first 8-10 months of the program completing the online didactic and exams for paramedic parts 1 and 2.

Skills:

There will be some travel involved for the Skills Sessions. Our only hands-on lab locations are in Texas. There is one 1-day Skills Session for EMT, and seven 1-day sessions for the Paramedic Program.

Clinicals:

Our Clinical locations change from time to time, so its best to check our live Clinical Locations Map on the website PERCOMCourses.com from time to time for any updates. Most of our sites are in Texas, but we do have sites in many other US states.
